Eid-ul-Adha Program

Eid-ul-Adha Program

Eid-ul-Adha is a festival of sacrifice, sharing, and gratitude—and at Choose Happiness, it’s also a time to bring smiles to countless homes. Every year, we organize animal sacrifices (Qurbani) on the first and second day of Eid and distribute fresh meat to deserving, low-income families who may not otherwise be able to enjoy this special blessing.

With careful planning and the support of generous donors, our team ensures that Qurbani is carried out in accordance with Islamic principles. Healthy animals are selected, and the entire process—from slaughter to meat packaging—is handled hygienically and respectfully. Priority is given to families that include orphans, widows, the elderly, disabled individuals, and daily wage earners.

The meat distribution is conducted with dignity and fairness. Volunteers personally deliver meat packs door-to-door in many cases, so that even those who are unable to travel—such as elderly or disabled individuals—can receive their share. This program brings warmth and festivity into homes that might otherwise feel left out of Eid celebrations.

More than just fulfilling a religious duty, our Eid-ul-Adha Program strengthens community bonds, promotes compassion, and ensures that every member of society can experience the joy of Eid. Through your Qurbani donations, you're not just offering meat—you’re sharing love, respect, and happiness.
